To date, I have published more than twenty short stories in Hebrew in a variety of Israeli literary journals and several anthologies. In 2008, I published my first collection of stories, The War Painter. My first popular science book, Supernova, was published by the MIT Press in 2022. I am currently working on a new collection of stories, in English, as well as a popular science book about galaxies for the MIT Press Essential Knowledge Series.

Supernova, a concise illustrated introduction to the history and physics of supernovae, the brilliant explosions of stars, was published in 2022. It is on sale worldwide.

“… a comprehensive overview of all aspects of the field as it stands today, … the book covers the lives and deaths of stars in accessible detail.” — Nature Astronomy

The War Painter (Tsayar ha-Milchamot) collects 21 short stories in Hebrew. These include the titular story, “The War Painter,” which has also appeared in English and Spanish, and “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte,” which won the Ha’aretz annual short story competition in 2007.

The War Painter was published in 2008 and is available for purchase from Tsomet Sfarim and other Israeli bookstores.

Published in 2007, The New Keshet Short Stories: first four years 2002–2006 (Sipurei Ha-Keshet Ha-Hadasha) collects 23 stories from the first four years of the eponymous Israeli literary journal, edited by the legendary man of letters Aharon Amir.

This anthology was edited by Aliza Zigler and myself, and features my short story “Chop Suey.”

Together with Yael Tomashov-Hollander, I founded the Israeli literary journal Almanach, and served as its fiction editor. You are welcome to download the first three issues of the journal.
